Five (5) Simple Ways on How to Feel Good After a Painful Breakup

BY Mc Wright IN No comments

In life, saying goodbye to someone is inevitable. Whether you like it or not, time will come that you will be bidding your farewell to your special someone. Though this occasion is not rare, still, you cannot help yourself to cry a river after the utterance of the word. Probably because, as human being, you are very capable to feel the exceptional emotion that is LOVE, and when you feel this you are attached to the person who may or may not reciprocate the feeling.

Breakup for everybody is not an ideal choice especially to those who believe in forever, but sometimes this brings a better way for the couple to be relieved.

Isn't ironic? You mostly say goodbye to someone just to feel okay and better, but after that moment here you are at the dark place of your room crying, yelling, and reminiscing all the things you have experienced in the relationship. This isn't a bad act to do; in fact, this action is a natural mechanism. But always remember that you shall not be eaten up by these doings because these will inflict personal damages in all aspects: emotional, physical and psychological.

There are simple ways on how to feel better after a painful break up. With these simple ways you will definitely create a happy ending from a tragic experience.

1.   Never visit and re-visit the social media account of your ex.

The constant visitation of your ex’s page will definitely make you sad and blue. Studies say that every time you secretly peek on this account (i.e. facebook) you will mostly feel not good especially when you read that your ex has already (or started) moving on.

 2. Never go back to your ex’s favorite place
unless you have already moved on.

The moment that you go back to these places (e.g. restaurant, theme parks, etc.) you will definitely bring back the happy and ideal moments that you shared. Remember, if you are not fully recovered from the break up, these happy moments that you used to share with her/him won’t give you the “happy” feelings. This will definitely make you sad because you will realize that you just created a very ideal world with the person whom you thought your “forever”.

                       3.     Never think that you are the loser.

In a break up, both parties are wounded and hurt. Though this is given and acceptable, you shall not dwell to the thought that you are the loser who losses the battle. This thought will definitely make your days so wan. How? Usually, when a negative broken lover thinks that he/she is the loser, he/she will think that all the blames are designed and intended for him/her. This negative thinking shackles your positive thought that someone is better coming on your way. (You will think that you don’t deserve that person because of your insecurities and limitations… because you are, indeed, a loser.)

                       4.      Never go to a new relationship (rebound)
                                                   just to feel better.
Going to a rebound relationship will definitely worsen the situation. In this case, you don’t only hurt yourself but the other party as well. Don’t live in a very pretentious relationship. Don’t pretend that you have moved on when in fact you are just finding your way out or scapegoat at the moment. You will cause damage which would at the end make you feel worse.

                       5. Never say Never to a possibility of falling in love again to
                                        a new person. (Be optimistic)
Don’t be so pessimistic after a painful break up. Always keep in mind that God has a perfect gift for you. He designed your destiny to be with someone who He thinks better to be with. Life is beautiful and will always be wonderful as long as you keep your head up and keep positive thoughts in mind.

PS.

Saying goodbye is unavoidable, but at the end, suffering is optional.

All the best,
